ART DECO GILDED IRON, BRASS AND ACID-ETCHED GLASS HANGING DISPLAY CABINET
France, circa 1930s
Item # 209FRI22L
An absolutely gorgeous collector's display cabinet of the Art Deco period in France, it features acid-etched glass with gilded highlights in the upper facets of the cabinet, the rest of the glass being transparent and set within a textured and gilded iron frame. The door opens (key absent) to reveal and adjustable shelved interior with beautifully hand-fabricated brass shelf supports that lock into the brass tabbed uprights at the back of the cabinet - note the hand filing marks and overall hand shaping that created the beautiful shelf supports. The cabinet is intended to hang on the four cylindrical upright hooks integrated into the sides - we can have posts fabricated upon request if you plan to use these for mounting the cabinet, but clients will have to contact for a quote prior to purchase.
Measurements: 51 5/8" H x 9" D x 25 1/2" W

If you plan to use these hooks to mount the cabinet, we may be able to have posts custom fabricated - contact us for a quote.
