FINELY SCULPTED 18K GOLD AND GEMSET LION BROOCH (CONVERTS TO PENDANT)

An incredibly fine design with intricate detail, this vivid "Lion" bust features crisp development of individual hairs within his mane and face. Expertly cast and chiseled, the craftsmanship is above reproach. In his mouth hangs a wreath bead set with alternating diamonds, emeralds, sapphires and rubies, the wreath a bright contrast with platinum plating over the 18 karat yellow gold. His hair moves chaotically throughout the crown, made brilliant with the eye catching emeralds, rubies, sapphires and diamonds prong set within his hair. There are a total of 36 gems in this small brooch. It is further designed with a flip-up clasp, allowing it to be worn as a pendant on a necklace instead of as a brooch. The reverse is stamped "18K".
